"Thank you to all 36 pianists, the staff and Prof. Penneys for creating this utopian place for young artists like myself to grow and develop our individual artistry. I have learned a great amount and have been so inspired by my peers, the guest artists and the nature around us. Every moment from the past three weeks is still vivid in my mind. I miss the place and the wonderful people from RPPF 2019. I am so grateful to be back again for a second summer as part of this incredible music festival! Thank you RPPF for being one of the best experiences of my life."

"Each year I am associated with Rebecca Penneys' piano festival programs, and now after five years of RPPF at USF, I have become even more impressed with two very important things: the students, and the teaching. Rebecca has such a gift for finding truly talented students from all over the world, pianists who are smart, quick, responsive and possessed of a true passion for music, life, and the glorious piano repertoire we are privileged to study and share. Every single student I heard and taught was so in love with music and eager to grow and learn. And Rebecca-- she is the master at unlocking their potential and creating an atmosphere that encourages their growth with one another, with her piano guests, through her teaching and organization. She and her festival are marvelous!" ….
